  • ASD Functional Medicine Approach

Welcome to the Total Wellness Empowerment Institute, the functional medicine and nutritional approach for individuals on the autism spectrum disorder. This training teaches you how to become a certified autism health coach. We have parents and grandparents who use this training, not for a career, but to implement and start using for their family. And we have others that use this training to become a health coach certified and specializing in the autism spectrum disorder and also neurodevelopmental disorder because this applies for OCD, Asperger’s, ADD, ADHD, PDD, speech apraxia, and much more.

So what exactly is a functional medicine approach for autism? Well, we look at the root causes. We go deeper into understanding where the imbalances are and why do certain experiences trigger the individual. Because what we’ve noticed doing this for over twenty-five years now is that there are imbalances that are common, certain patterns for the individuals.

And once we work on those patterns, it actually lessens the symptoms and really helps the individual get to their full potential. If you see a child plateauing or the therapy they’re they’re doing only gets them so far, it’s because you’re not looking at the full picture. There are many pieces to the puzzle. So we look at improving brain health.

Well, we look at improving gut health because there’s a gut-brain axis that is scientifically proven. We also look at detoxification.

We look at refining the diet to make sure the individual are getting the nutrients that they need and not processed sugary foods that could be triggering all these issues and making them worse. We also look at increasing cellular energy. That’s the mitochondrial. The mitochondria are the center of the cells that give the communication from one cell to another.

So we have to make sure that the diet is giving the nutrients to increase the cellular energy. So all of our trillions of cells in the body can communicate with one another. We also look at lowering inflammation and improving immune functioning. And we do have some genetic testing if people wanna run that to see if they have a specific MTHFR gene.

We have so many wonderful tests that you can run, and I always recommend an organic acid test and a gut test to really get the markers that you can start making changes right away with the test results. So I welcome you to register for the Total Wellness Empowerment Institute Health Coach Training to become a certified autism health coach and start implementing it on your own family, as well as in your coaching practice.

  • ASD Emotional Behavioral Impact

Total Wellness Empowerment Institute offers a certified autism health coach training program. This can be used by parents and grandparents for their own family or for professionals or anyone who wants to become a health coach and help the children diagnosed on the spectrum. We look at the emotional and behavioral impact, and the way we look at it is we’re looking at it from a biomedical and nutritional imbalance. So for emotional regulation, we look at stress and anxiety.

So constant sensory challenges can lead to those heightened stress levels resulting in panic attacks, anxiety, as well as mood swings because of the sensory inputs that give these rapid shifts in mood. That we see is the gut adrenal system causing this. And even the frustration and anger for the individual has an inability to effectively communicate sensory discomfort and needs can lead to frustration, anger, and aggression, and sometimes even self injury. For the behavioral issues, what is being triggered by the gut adrenal imbalances?

We see avoidance tactics, engaging in behaviors to avoid those sensory input, refusing to participate in activities that are not controlled environments, sensory seeking or avoiding. We either have extreme behaviors may develop repetitive touching of objects or avoiding certain textures and then meltdowns because the adrenal system is so overwhelmed. Now it has overwhelmed sensory experiences leading to overstimulation meltdowns because the child or the adult for that matter cannot control emotions and their actions in response to these triggers. The certified autism health coach training teaches what to look for in the functional medicine lab testing and how you can use nutraceuticals and food to balance out and deal with these irregulations.

  • ASD Brain Needs Cholesterol

Did you know that cholesterol affects individuals with autism? Those with autism can have abnormal lipid levels. Let’s talk about why the brain needs cholesterol and what we see with cholesterol abnormalities in individuals diagnosed with autism. If someone is on the autism spectrum disorder, they can have some abnormal lipid levels of cholesterol, and those individuals are likely to have epilepsy, sleep disorders, ADHD, so attention issues, hyperactive issues, anemia, hypothyroidism, as well as vitamin D deficiencies.

This is why you always want to get tested. Research from two thousand and nineteen shows that low total cholesterol is four times common in children with autism. And when someone has low cholesterol of a hundred forty-five or lower, it actually is problematic because it leads to mental health issues such as depression, moodiness, confusion, anxiety, poor sleep, aggression, and much more. Now, if someone has high cholesterol, that can be problematic as well.

And what we usually see is that we need to reduce sugar and simple carbohydrate consumption because high levels of sugar can raise the LDL and lower HDL. And this is what we teach in the certified autism health
coach training, the Total Wellness Empowerment Institute.

  • ASD Sensory Processing

Let’s talk about sensory processing disorder in individuals on the autism spectrum disorder. We teach this in the certified autism health coach training from the Total Wellness Empowerment Institute. Here are some common examples of sensory issues that individuals on the spectrum may experience. Irritation from clothing tags, itchy from certain types of fabric, heightened sensitivity to bright lights bothered by those flashing lights, as well as heightened sensitivity to loud noises, and they cover their ears, overwhelmed by strong smells, increased stress in crowded areas, difficulty focusing in busy places, as well as feeling very panicked in sensory rich spaces, elevated levels of stress with a lack of routine or going the same way when someone is driving them, fidgeting, rigid behavior, and wanting things to stay the same.

What we teach in the certified autism health coach program is that the sensory issues can be exasperated by certain gut brain imbalances. We really wanna look at markers from a functional medicine test that are checking candida and bacteria overgrowth on the GI tract. So there’s so much more when you see symptoms of autism. It can be biomedical and nutritional imbalances, and this is what we teach.

And we welcome you to become a certified autism health coach to help the individuals on the spectrum. Bye now.

  • Yeast Overgrowth ASD

Is your child suffering from yeast overgrowth? Did you know that many kids with autism have chronic gut issues and yeast and candida overgrowth, which severely impact brain function and behavior? Well, what causes yeast overgrowth? We do a deep dive into this in our certified autism health coach training program.

Let’s just go over some potential causes: sugar, simple carbohydrates, antibiotic usage, as well as steroids. And what symptoms are yeast overgrowth? Behavioral symptoms range from inappropriate laughter, sleep issues, bedwetting, fatigue, depression, mental fogginess, hyperactivity, increased self stimulatory behaviors, such as stimming, high pitched squealing, increased sensory seeking, as well as climbing, jumping off things, sugar cravings, self limiting foods, and plateauing in their skills. The physical symptoms can range from GI issues and extended belly, constipation, white tongue, diaper rash, skin rashes such as eczema, as well as rashes and cracking between the toes and joints.

So what type of treatment options do you have for candida and yeast overgrowth? Again, we do a deep dive in the certified autism health coach training. What you can look into doing is reducing the amount of candida or yeast in the GI tract by refining one’s diet and adding specialized supplements supporting the immune system, addressing leaky gut issues, and identifying and addressing all other factors that are contributing to gut dysbiosis. If you’re interested in empowering these children and the families, then you can become a certified autism health coach today.

  • Gut-Brain Connection

Did you know that your gut and brain are in constant communication? This connection is called the gut brain axis, which is a two-way communication system between your gut, your digestive spinal cord. Research shows that children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder have less variety of gut bacteria than other children. This is very important because this bacteria, which we call the microbiome, actually affects brain-focused concentration learning and behavior.

There are many key findings with the gut microbiome differences showing that children have less diverse gut microbiome diagnosed on the autism spectrum disorder. They can have increased levels of clostridium and decreased levels of bifidus bacterium. These differences can influence both GI functioning and behavior. Changes in the gut microbiome can affect other compounds impacting brain function and behavior, as well as the immune system interaction.

When we have less of the good microbiome, it influences the immune system, which leads to increased production of inflammation throughout the body. Given the potential role of the gut microbiome with individuals diagnosed on the autism spectrum disorder, there are several therapeutic strategies such as probiotics as well as dietary interactions to include more fiber. Reducing processed foods may support a healthier gut microbiome, potentially impacting autism symptoms. What happens when we don’t have beneficial bacteria, we can have a gut lining that has leaky junctions. And that means it is a leaky gut linked to behavioral issues, communication difficulties, and socialization problems.

Ongoing research into gut microbiome-based therapies offers hope for interventions, biomedical, nutritional, and diet aimed at improving the quality of one’s life and reducing the autism spectrum symptoms. We teach this all at the Total Wellness Empowerment Institute where we have a program for you to become a certified autism health coach. You can implement it for your own child, or you can also have a thriving practice helping others.

At the Total Wellness Empowerment Institute (TWEI), we’ve created a game-changing Functional Medicine Lab Training Course that stands out from the crowd. Unlike other programs that cost upwards of $12,000 and leave you without practical tools, our training offers hands-on access to a lab portal, expert lab interpretation, and special pricing—all for a fraction of the cost.

Let’s explore the transformative power of this training, the specialized labs it includes, the benefits for your clients, and how it can catapult your business to new heights. Let’s dive in.

Why Functional Medicine Lab Training Matters

Functional medicine is a systems-based, science-driven approach that seeks to uncover the root causes of health issues rather than merely masking symptoms. For women whose health needs shift dramatically across puberty, reproductive years, perimenopause, and beyond, this approach is revolutionary. Hormonal fluctuations, gut imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, and environmental stressors can wreak havoc on their physical and mental well-being. Standard blood tests often miss these subtleties, leaving women frustrated and unwell.

This is where functional medicine lab testing comes in. Practitioners can paint a detailed picture of a woman’s unique physiology by leveraging advanced diagnostics like hormone panels, skin DNA analysis, organic acid tests, and gut microbiome assessments. Functional medicine lab training empowers you to precisely interpret these results, craft personalized protocols, and guide your clients toward lasting wellness. The Total Wellness Empowerment Institute’s course takes this further by offering unparalleled access to these tools and expert support—making it a win-win for you and your clients.

The Specialized Labs: A Game-Changer for Women’s Health

Let’s look closer at the specialized labs in the training and how they empower women to reach optimal health at any age.

    1. Hormone Panels: Balancing the Body and Mind

Women’s hormones constantly change, influencing everything from energy levels to mental clarity. A comprehensive hormone panel goes beyond basic bloodwork, measuring key markers like cortisol (stress hormone), DHEA, and sex hormones alongside thyroid function. For a 25-year-old struggling with irregular periods, a 40-year-old navigating perimenopause, or a 60-year-old combating fatigue, these insights are gold. With this data, you can recommend targeted nutrition, supplements, or lifestyle changes to restore balance and vitality.

    2. Skin DNA Analysis: Beauty from Within

Skin health is a top concern for women across generations, and it’s deeply tied to internal wellness. Skin DNA analysis reveals genetic predispositions affecting collagen production, inflammation, and antioxidant capacity. Whether your client is a teenager battling acne or a mature woman seeking to reduce wrinkles, this test provides a roadmap for personalized skincare and nutrition plans. It’s a powerful tool to boost confidence and outer radiance.

    3. Organic Acid Test (OAT): A Metabolic Masterpiece

The Organic Acid Test offers a snapshot of metabolic health, uncovering nutrient deficiencies, mitochondrial function, and toxin buildup. For women dealing with unexplained fatigue, brain fog, or weight struggles, this test pinpoints hidden culprits—like yeast overgrowth or oxidative stress. With these insights, you can design protocols that detoxify, nourish, and energize, helping clients feel their best inside and out.

    4. Comprehensive Gut Analysis: The Foundation of Wellness

The gut is the cornerstone of health, influencing immunity, mood, and skin. A comprehensive gutgut analysis assesses microbiome diversity, digestive function, and inflammation markers. For a young woman with bloating, a mother with autoimmune issues, or an older client with nutrient absorption challenges, this test reveals the root causes. You can then recommend probiotics, dietary shifts, or gut-healing strategies to restore harmony.

These labs don’t just diagnose—they empower. By offering them to your clients, you give women the tools to take charge of their health at every stage.

Benefits for Your Clients: Total Wellness of Mind and Body

When you integrate functional medicine lab training into your practice, your clients reap transformative rewards:

    • Personalized Care: No more one-size-fits-all solutions. These labs provide data-driven insights tailored to each woman’s unique needs.
    • Root-Cause Resolution: Address symptoms’ underlying drivers— hormonal chaos, gut dysbiosis, or nutrient gaps—rather than masking them.
    • Empowerment: Women gain clarity about their bodies, fostering confidence and proactive health decisions.
    • Holistic Wellness: By optimizing hormones, gut health, and metabolism, clients experience benefits that ripple through their physical, mental, and emotional lives.
    • Long-Term Results: Unlike quick fixes, these interventions promote sustainable health, helping women thrive for years.

Imagine the gratitude of a client who finally resolves chronic fatigue or the joy of a woman whose skin glows after years of struggle. That’s the impact you can make.

  • The Autism Health Coaching Revolution: Transforming Lives and Building a Thriving Career

In recent decades, autism has emerged as a pressing global health concern, with its prevalence skyrocketing and its impact felt by families, communities, and healthcare systems worldwide. This rise has sparked a revolution—one that’s not only changing how we approach autism but also creating opportunities for compassionate, driven individuals to make a meaningful difference. Welcome to the Autism Health Coaching Revolution, a movement that empowers professionals to address the root causes of autism, support affected children and families, and build fulfilling, heart-centered careers in the process.

This blog explores why this revolution matters, the factors driving the increase in autism prevalence, and how you can step into the role of a Certified Autism Health Coach to create a positive ripple effect. Let’s dive into the details and discover how this field is transforming lives—and how it could transform yours too.

    Why This Revolution Matters
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) affects an estimated 1 in 36 children in the United States alone, a statistic that underscores the urgency of this issue. Globally, the demand for solutions is palpable, as families seek answers beyond traditional medical interventions. The numbers tell a compelling story: autism prevalence has surged by 317% since the 1970s, when it was estimated at 1 in 10,000. Today, it’s a condition that touches millions of lives, and the need for specialized support has never been greater.

This isn’t just a U.S. phenomenon—it’s a worldwide challenge. Countries like Canada, Belgium, and South Korea are seeing similar trends, with demand for Certified Autism Health Coaches growing.Parents, educators, and healthcare providers are increasingly recognizing that autism requires a holistic approach—one that goes beyond symptom management to address underlying causes and promote overall wellness.

The Autism Health Coaching Revolution matters because it fills this gap. It equips professionals with the tools to support children with autism by focusing on nutrition, biomedical interventions, and lifestyle changes, while also offering a career path that’s both impactful and sustainable. For those who feel called to help others, this is an opportunity to turn passion into purpose.

The Alarming Rise in Autism Prevalence
To understand the revolution, we first need to grapple with the numbers. In 1970, autism was a rare diagnosis, affecting just 1 in 10,000 children. By the mid-1990s, that figure began to climb, and by 2020, it had reached unprecedented levels. What’s behind this 317% increase over five decades? The presentation poses a critical question: Why the Increase in the Prevalence of Autism? The answer isn’t simple, but it’s rooted in a combination of environmental, biological, and societal factors.

One striking correlation highlighted in the document is the relationship between autism prevalence among 6-year-olds and the use of glyphosate, a widely used herbicide applied to corn and soy crops. With a correlation coefficient of R=0.9972 and a p-value of ≤2.366e-07, the data suggests a near-perfect statistical link between glyphosate exposure and autism rates (sourced from the U.S. Department of Education and USDA). While correlation doesn’t equal causation, this connection raises serious questions about the role of environmental toxins in neurodevelopmental disorders.

Glyphosate is just one piece of the puzzle. The presentation also points to a broader range of toxins and stressors that may contribute to autism, including heavy metals, pesticides, household chemicals, and processed diets lacking “clean” ingredients. These factors can overburden a child’s system, particularly organs like the liver, kidneys, and pancreas, which are commonly stressed in children with autism. Add in chronic bacteria, viral overload, and antibiotic overuse, and it’s clear that modern lifestyles may be amplifying the challenges faced by vulnerable children.

This isn’t about blame—it’s about awareness. The rise in autism prevalence reflects changes in our world, from industrial agriculture to chemical exposure to dietary shifts. The Autism Health Coaching Revolution responds by empowering professionals to address these root causes head-on, offering hope where traditional approaches may fall short.

    Getting to the Root Cause
At the heart of autism health coaching is a commitment to uncovering and addressing the root causes of a child’s symptoms. Rather than focusing solely on behavioral therapies or medications, this approach examines the body’s systems and their interplay with the environment. The presentation lists several commonly stressed systems in children with autism:

Liver: Detoxifies the body but can become overwhelmed by environmental toxins.
Lymph: Supports immunity but may struggle with chronic infections.
Pancreas: Regulates blood sugar, impacted by poor diet or inflammation.
Digestive System: The gut-brain connection is key, often disrupted in autism.
Kidneys: Filter toxins but can be strained by heavy metals or chemicals.
Adrenal Glands: Manage stress, which is often heightened in autism.

By targeting these systems, autism health coaches help restore balance and reduce the burden on a child’s body. But what’s causing this stress in the first place?

The presentation identifies a laundry list of potential culprits:
Food sensitivities and excitotoxins (e.g., MSG)
    Candida and sugar cravings
    Parasites
    Chemicals and pesticides
    Viral overload
    Chronic bacterial infections
    Heavy metals (e.g., lead, mercury)
    Household toxins
Overuse of antibiotics and over-the-counter medicines
Processed diets lacking nutrient-dense, “clean” ingredients
These factors don’t just affect physical health—they influence behavior, cognition, and emotional regulation, all of which are core challenges in autism. By identifying and mitigating these toxins, coaches can help children thrive in ways that traditional interventions might miss.

    The Gut-Brain Connection: A Game-Changer
One of the most exciting insights in autism research is the gut-brain connection, a bidirectional pathway linking digestive health to neurological function. The presentation emphasizes this link, noting that disruptions in the gut—whether from toxins like glyphosate or poor nutrition—can profoundly affect the brain. This isn’t speculation; it’s backed by data showing how dietary and environmental factors correlate with autism symptoms.

For example, children with autism often experience gastrointestinal issues like bloating, constipation, or food sensitivities. These aren’t just side effects—they’re clues. A leaky gut, inflamed by processed foods or chemical exposure, can allow toxins to enter the bloodstream, triggering inflammation that reaches the brain. This inflammation may exacerbate symptoms like irritability, hyperactivity, or difficulty focusing.

The good news? The gut-brain connection is a two-way street. By healing the gut, we can positively influence the brain. This is where nutrition and biomedical interventions come in, offering practical, science-backed strategies to support children with autism.

Nutrition as a Cornerstone of Autism Health Coaching
Nutrition is a cornerstone of the autism health coaching approach, and the presentation highlights several dietary considerations:

Gluten-Free, Casein-Free (GFCF): Many children with autism show improvements when gluten (from wheat) and casein (from dairy) are removed from their diets, possibly due to sensitivities or gut inflammation.
Amines, Glutamates, Salicylates, Phenols, Oxalates, Lectins: These naturally occurring compounds in foods can trigger reactions in sensitive individuals.
Simple Carbohydrates, Sugar, Artificial Sweeteners: These can fuel inflammation, candida overgrowth, or blood sugar imbalances.
Studies show that diet and nutrition can improve autism symptoms, from better focus to reduced aggression. This isn’t about restriction for restriction’s sake—it’s about tailoring nutrition to a child’s unique needs, eliminating triggers, and introducing nutrient-dense foods that support healing.

    Biomedical Balance: A Holistic Approach
Beyond nutrition, autism health coaching incorporates biomedical interventions to balance the body and brain. The presentation outlines key areas of focus:

Sleep: Critical for neurological repair but often disrupted in autism.
Stress Levels: High cortisol can worsen symptoms; calming the adrenals is key.
Bowel Health: Regularity supports detoxification and gut health.
Chemical Exposure: Eliminating toxins from food, water, and personal care products.
Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs): Reducing exposure to support nervous system health.
Environment: Addressing pollution, mold, and other external stressors.
This holistic approach recognizes that autism isn’t just a brain condition—it’s a whole-body experience. By optimizing these factors, coaches help children achieve a state of biomedical balance, paving the way for better health and behavior.

Why We Need You: Building a Career as an Autism Health Coach
The Autism Health Coaching Revolution isn’t just about helping children—it’s about empowering you to make a difference. The demand for Certified Autism Health Coaches is growing worldwide, driven by families seeking personalized, root-cause solutions. This is your chance to build a fulfilling, heart-centered business while addressing a critical need.

  • How a Certified Autism Health Coach Transforms Behavior by Addressing Root Causes

How a Certified Autism Health Coach Transforms Behavior by Addressing Root Causes

When a child is diagnosed with autism, families often seek solutions to help improve communication, social skills, and behavior. Traditional behavioral therapy, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), is one of the most well-known approaches. However, many parents notice that while ABA can help manage behaviors, it doesn’t always address the root causes of those behaviors.
That’s where a Certified Autism Health Coach makes a profound difference. By focusing on biomedical and nutritional interventions, these professionals help children with autism experience tangible improvements in cognition, focus, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. This article explores how a Certified Autism Health Coach differs from a behavioral therapist and why addressing gut health, brain function, adrenal balance, and the immune system can lead to transformative results.

The Key Difference: Managing vs. Resolving Behaviors
Behavioral therapists use structured techniques like ABA to reinforce and reduce negative behaviors. While this can be very helpful, it often focuses on external behavior modification rather than the internal biological factors contributing to those behaviors.

A Certified Autism Health Coach takes a holistic approach by identifying and addressing underlying imbalances that can drive behavioral challenges, such as:
Gut dysfunction leads to irritability, anxiety, and brain fog
Nutrient deficiencies affecting cognition, mood, and energy levels
Neurotransmitter imbalances cause focus issues, hyperactivity, or aggression
Adrenal dysfunction leading to meltdowns, fatigue, and sleep disturbances
Immune dysregulation contributes to chronic inflammation and illness

Rather than just teaching a child how to respond differently to a situation, a health coach works to restore balance within the body—leading to natural improvements in behavior, emotional regulation, and cognitive function.

How Gut Health Impacts Autism Symptoms
The gut-brain connection plays a significant role in autism-related behaviors.
Research shows that children with autism often have:
Imbalanced gut bacteria (dysbiosis), which affects mood and cognition
Leaky gut syndrome, allowing toxins to enter the bloodstream and trigger inflammation
Food sensitivities leading to hyperactivity, aggression, or digestive discomfort

By healing the gut, a Certified Autism Health Coach helps:
    ✅ Reduce irritability and meltdowns
✅ Improve focus and learning ability
✅ Enhance digestion and nutrient absorption
Families often see dramatic improvements in behavior and overall health through targeted dietary interventions, probiotic support, and gut-healing protocols.

Balancing Brain Chemistry for Better Cognition and Mood
Children with autism frequently struggle with imbalances in dopamine, serotonin, and GABA, which can lead to:
    Difficulty focusing
    Anxiety and OCD-like behaviors
    Aggression or hyperactivity
    Sleep disturbances

A Certified Autism Health Coach helps restore neurotransmitter balance through:
🔹 Targeted supplementation (e.g., B vitamins, magnesium, amino acids)
🔹 Nutrient-dense foods that support brain health
🔹 Reducing toxins that interfere with brain function
Children experience better focus, emotional stability, and improved learning capacity when brain chemistry is optimized.

How the Gut-Adrenal Connection Impacts Stress and Meltdowns
The adrenal glands regulate the body’s response to stress, but when they’re overworked, children may experience:
    Frequent tantrums and meltdowns
    Chronic anxiety and overwhelm
    Fatigue or hyperactivity cycles
This is often due to gut-adrenal dysfunction, where gut imbalances cause excess stress hormones, leading to heightened emotional reactivity.

A Certified Autism Health Coach helps regulate the gut-adrenal axis by:
✔️ Reducing inflammatory foods and supporting digestion
✔️ Using adaptogenic herbs and minerals to balance stress hormones
✔️ Implementing lifestyle strategies like movement and relaxation techniques
As stress hormones stabilize, children experience fewer meltdowns, better emotional resilience, and improved sleep.

The Gut-Immune Connection: Reducing Inflammation for a Calmer Nervous System
Chronic immune activation is common in children with autism. Inflammation in the brain and body can contribute to sensory issues, hyperactivity, and aggression.
Factors that contribute to immune dysregulation include:
    Chronic infections (yeast, bacteria, viruses)
    Environmental toxins and heavy metals
    Food sensitivities and gut permeability

A Certified Autism Health Coach focuses on detoxification, immune support, and reducing inflammation by:
✅ Using targeted nutrition to support immune balance
✅ Removing toxins and pathogens that trigger inflammation
✅ Supporting liver detox pathways for better metabolic health
As inflammation decreases, children often experience improved mood, better social engagement, and a more regulated nervous system.

Why Addressing Root Causes Leads to Lasting Improvements
Many families report significant breakthroughs in their child’s development when they take a biomedical and nutritional approach alongside behavioral therapies. Instead of just managing symptoms, a Certified Autism Health Coach works to correct underlying imbalances, leading to:
✔️ Fewer tantrums and behavioral outbursts
✔️ Improved language and social skills
✔️ Increased attention span and learning ability
✔️ Better sleep and reduced anxiety
✔️ A stronger immune system and better overall health

Conclusion: A Holistic Approach to Autism Support
While behavioral therapy has its place, it’s not the only puzzle piece. A Certified Autism Health Coach goes deeper by identifying and addressing the biological and nutritional factors driving autism-related behaviors.
Focusing on gut health, brain function, adrenal balance, and immune regulation helps children experience true transformation—not just symptom management.

Offering Comprehensive Lab Testing is A Game-Changer for Client Results
As a health coach, you aim to help clients achieve optimal wellness through diet, lifestyle, and targeted interventions. Nutrient Deficiencies: Organic acid testing can identify metabolic imbalances; over 30% of adults have at least one nutrient deficiency. (CDC)
Hormonal Imbalances: 80% of women experience hormonal imbalances in their lifetime, contributing to fatigue, weight gain, and mood disorders. (The Hormone Health Network)
Food Intolerances: Up to 20% of the population has a food intolerance, causing chronic inflammation, headaches, and digestive issues. (World Allergy Organization)

How Functional Lab Testing Transforms Your Health Coaching Practice
By integrating lab testing, you move from guessing to assessing, allowing you to develop precise wellness plans based on accurate data.

Here’s how each test can elevate your practice:

Helps clients struggling with bloating, IBS, autoimmune conditions, and skin issues.
Supports personalized dietary and probiotic recommendations.
    2. Organic Acid Test (OAT): A Deep Dive into Metabolic Health
Detects vitamin deficiencies, mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, and neurotransmitter imbalances.
Essential for clients dealing with fatigue, brain fog, mood swings, and poor detoxification.
Provides a roadmap for targeted supplementation and dietary changes.
    3. Hormone Testing: Balancing the Body for Optimal Health
Evaluates cortisol, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and thyroid function.
Helps clients dealing with stress, fatigue, weight gain, and menstrual irregularities.
Allows for lifestyle and nutritional interventions to support hormonal balance naturally.
    4. Food Intolerance Testing: Identifying Hidden Triggers
Pinpoints sensitivities to common inflammatory foods that can lead to gut inflammation, skin issues, and joint pain.
It helps clients transition to an anti-inflammatory diet with ease.
